Dementia Care

Our Special Care Unit is designed to provide that extra measure of care for those who have been diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease and have a tendency to wander. Our entire care team understands and responds compassionately to the special needs of older adults who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Regularly scheduled Team Care Conferences ensure that each resident’s needs are being met. Supervision by caring trained staff allow each person to get exercise, fresh air, and sunshine within the safety of our community. Our main meals and frequent healthy snacks are so delicious that our residents easily maintain healthy weights. Our loving team of Activities Ambassadors focuses on everything the residents can do and that attitude makes all the difference!
