Sungarden
Terrace Retirement Community offers Assisted Living and Dementia Care
in warm and sunny Lemon Grove, conveniently located just
south of downtown San Diego. Our community is a warm and homey environment. Studio apartments provide the private space
you need. The beautiful community areas and gardens provide
opportunities for socializing and recreation. Residents enjoy our clean and fresh environment, the healthy
and delicious meals, and the loving well-trained staff. We provide excellence in

Dining at Sungarden Terrace is
truly an enjoyable experience. Our Dining Room is warm and
inviting. The attractively presented food provides healthy variety from meal to meal. Special events such as holiday meals, ice cream socials, bbqs, and our annual luau create enjoyable memorable meals. Watch our calendar for these special menus.
Our dining room serves three meals per
day, and there are two snack times per day. We also offer specialized diets such as diabetic diets, no added salt, limited
concentrated sweets, limited fats and other diets based
on resident's needs and physician orders. Room service delivery
and visitor meals are also available for a nominal fee.

Activities
Sungarden Terrace offers a wide variety of
group and individual activities to meet the needs and interests of
our residents. Our full-time activities coordinators oversee
and encourage everyone to participate. (Click here

As you can see on the calendar,
we provide daily fitness and wellness activities, professional level musical entertainment, creative opportunities, outings and more. One evening each month we invite professional guest speakers to enlighten and educate residents and guests alike. Call marketing and admissions for additional information on guest speakers.

Resident Centered Care
We are staffed
24-hours per day, 7 days per week. Our staff has been
thoroughly trained and background screened. We are eager to serve. Our caregivers are
trained to respond to each guest’s needs. Our flexibility and quality care assures our goal of Resident Centered Care.
Assistance with ADL's (activities of daily living) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, assistance to meals and more are available as part of an assisted living package or can be purchased seperately. lAt Sungarden Terrace residents and their loved ones have peace of mind
knowing needs are being attended to while respecting
the resident's individual desires and independence.

Transportation
Residents can utilize our transportation services for medical appointments, shopping, lunch trips and more. Our residents
travel in luxury in our beautiful Cadillac sedan. For larger group outings our van is used. Transportation is a complimentary service within our service area. Inquire at the front desk for current mileage and hourly rates outside of the area.

Housekeeping
Never worry about housekeeping ever again! Beds are made daily, waste baskets are emptied and daily light cleaning and
straightening is accomplished for each resident. Every
room is thoroughly deep cleaned each week. For those who have additional requirements, we can arrange for special attention and
service.

Laundry and Linens
Sungarden Terrace’s Maintenance Free Life Style includes fresh clean towels
twice per week and bed linens changed at least weekly. We provide all
towels and linens. Your personal laundry is washed, dried and delivered back to your room each week. Imagine, not doing these tiresome chores ever again! For questions contact the

Salon
Our on-site full service salon has a visiting licensed beauty specialist. From simple shampoo and sets, men's barber services, perms and even color, your hair will always look its best. Respite Care
Short term stays are a wonderful way for potential residents to experience our
Resident Centered Care. This short term care is known as respite care and can also provide a
welcome break for families from the rigors of
care giving. Please inquire with our Marketing and Admissions department for
availability.

Medication Management and Diabetic Care
Sungarden Terrace offers medication management as well as diabetic care services. Medications ordered by the resident's physician including supplements and over the counter medications are offered at the ordered times. For diabetics, we will assist with glucose monitoring, insulin,
and other medications. We have a
fully qualified and licensed staff to assist our guests in the
monitoring of medication.
The Food Service
Department can also carry out physician's orders such as caloric monitoring and diabetic diets to meet
all requirements and is supervised by a registered dietician. When it
comes to medications and diabetic care, we make it easy.
